On August 1, 2008, OSI became part of Recap Advisors. Recap is among the nation’s acknowledged experts in the finance, restructuring, and asset management of multifamily residential properties. Since its founding in 1989, it has successfully delivered services on more than 750 properties representing more than $2.6 billion in real estate value. The firm has more than $2.2 billion in multifamily assets under management.

Together, the combined company will focus on expanding OSI’s product lines and client base, and plans for significant growth in OSI’s core business.

Recap will retain the OSI brand name and OSI principals will continue in key roles with Recap. Jed Lowry will become OSI’s Director of Operations and David Whiston will be OSI’s Director of Sales. John Nicoli will manage OSI’s West Coast office.
