Project Assistant Successful candidates will be responsible for evaluating physical needs and capital resources of real estate investments. Conduct physical inspections, analyze and report on physical and financial needs of small- and large-scale real estate assets (typically multi-family and senior housing developments, condominium developments, and various institutional properties). Prepare capital spending plans for owners/managers/regulators. Preparation of reports using computer spreadsheets, narrative, graphic, and photographic elements. Presentation of the work product and ongoing client relationships. B.S. (or equivalent) in Building Surveying, Architecture, Historic Preservation, Building or Construction Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, Finance and/or Planning. Related work experience is beneficial. Domestic travel is a requirement for the position. Mechanical Systems Specialist Successful candidates will be responsible for evaluating existing heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems in multifamily, health care, and institutional facilities. Follow-through includes cost estimation, report preparation, and client relationships. We are looking for hard-working, energetic people to join our specialized practice. A college degree in Building Surveying, Construction Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, or Facilities Management is desirable, though not required. Good computer spreadsheet/word processing skills are a must. Candidates should have a background in the mechanical trades, facilities management, energy engineering, property maintenance, or building inspections, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience.
